I fell in love with skincare through curiosity, obsessing over the back of labels, trying to understand what was effective and what each ingredient truly did.
My mother shaped my earliest memories of beauty, I saw her blending yogurt with powdered roots and making at home masks. My father taught me that reverence to preserve the land and respect what came before.
Koro Gaia grew from both influences and a deep frustration with how few beauty brands represented African science, stories, and sourcing with integrity. It was born from the belief that true beauty is crafted with care, guided by science, and grounded in heritage.
Koro Gaia is my way of showing that African beauty has always been about excellence thoughtful, intelligent, and deeply connected to the land
